“Nothing is a coincidence; all is connected.”

Everyone has a story that starts somewhere. Most tales usually come into being in a similar way, and mine began as a little girl growing up in Figline Valdarno, a tiny village in Florence, Italy.

This girl may have been little, but she always dreamed big. Living in such a small, traditional village, she would never have been able to achieve all that she fantasized about. Not even yet conscious of what she desired, much less how to attain it, there was a wild spirit within her that needed to roam.

To make our dreams come true, we must live many lives and adapt ourselves as we change and have the dreams we pursue change alongside us.

Crossing a continent and relocating to the Big Apple, New York, with no plan, no spoken English, only $500 in her pocket, and just a suitcase full of dreams, her adventurous spirit becomes a reality. Some would say reckless, others brave; off she went, following her deepest desires and an intense belief in her very core that this was going to be her chance at life.

Why was New York chosen? Who can tell? Our destiny may not be guided by a map, but we always have a path to discover. She lives and experiences many lives to reach her very own American dream. A fairytale from a Hollywood classic or a gritty drama of true life in one of the toughest cities in the world. This is a deeply personal story, told how she wanted it written, of how, through all these lives, she has become who she is today. Who knows, perhaps you are meant to be connected somehow to this unknown story by reading it. And who knows where it will take you in search of your own dreams and desires.
